SAWING AND FURTHER PROCESSING
Gransjöverken produces approximately 105,000 m³ of timber products a year, of which 95,000 m³ is of spruce and 10,000 m³ pine. We focus on producing mechanically graded construction timber.
Among other things, Gransjöverken’s sawmill has a well-invested saw-line where the timber feed and new machinery were installed in 2007. We have a solid-fuel 7 MW boiler, 10 chamber dryers all from 1997 or later, and a grading line along which all timber passes.
All strength grading is done in our Dynagrade machine, that is installed in the line. Our planing mill consists of a planing line and a resawing and bundling line.
